Anthony McLean really connects with his audience. He is by far the best speaker I have heard in years. Anthony uses his humour, rapping ability and personality to successfully get his message across to students to get involved and be part of the solution in fighting bullying in our schools. Even several weeks after hearing Anthony, students are still talking about his message and presentation.

Frank Dallacorte, Vice Principal – Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School, YCDSB

This year Anthony presented to the students at Edgewood and the response from staff and students has been overwhelming. His bullying prevention message echoes the values of our Safe Schools team and helps students understand their role in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. I would recommend him to any school looking for a dynamic, energetic and inspirational speaker.

Aldo Petrucci, Vice Principal – Edgewood Public School, TDSB

Since Anthony’s visit, we have been able to use his message when talking with individuals and small groups of students about their relationships with one another. They readily recall Anthony’s words and one of his most important pieces of advice – “if you’re doing nothing, you are part of the problem.” Anthony’s “fun” way of presenting a very serious message truly “engaged” students in the process of bullying prevention. I highly recommend Anthony’s interactive assemblies to everyone. We will be using his song and referring back to his presentations over and over again!

Susan Calder, Principal – Cookstown Central Public School, SCDSB

Anthony McLean captures students from the minute he says hello! His messages about inclusivity reach out to students of all ages giving them ways to feel empowered and make changes in their schools. He engages students with his interactive energetic presentation style that informs, enlightens and educates these young people throughout the entire hour! Definitely a presentation worth booking well in advance!

Annette Robertson, Guidance Counsellor – Mayfield Secondary School – PDSB

Your presentation was brilliant. The message was clear and empowering. The students loved the audience interaction and the rapping. They said you were the most charismatic speaker they had ever heard. Our staff thoroughly enjoyed it too... a common remark was that if we could all teach like you, no student would ever miss a class! I will definitely be calling on you to return to King!

Carol Evans, Guidance Counsellor – RH King Academy – TDSB

Anthony's workshops have had a significant impact on our school. He has a profound ability to connect with people and share strategies that help to create a safe environment for all. He was equally impactful while working with parents and members from our community. I would wholeheartedly welcome him back to our school anytime.

Greg Farrell, Principal – Louis-Honore Frechette, YRDSB

Anthony's iEngage presentation was just what I needed as Principal to help move our Character Education/Conflict Resolution initiatives forward. His message around bullying is all about how each and every student can make a difference in their school Community. Anthony's work combines the best of entertainment and education. From Kindergarten to Grade 8 our students were entirely engaged in his presentations.

Chris Russell, Principal – Fieldcrest Public School, SCDSB

Living The Dream

"Living The Dream" is delivered in my multimedia style with some very light-hearted, laugh-out-loud moments and some very heart-felt thought provoking sentiments as well. The title is inspired by these words from Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

I take the stance that we are now living in that era. Although this presentation is ideal for Black History Month, its message is relevant throughout the year. The presentation is 45 minutes in length. The cost is $425 for one presentation and $250 for each additional presentation (plus HST).

Grade 9 Orientation

This Grade 9 Orientation serves as a great keynote presentation for High School Orientation day. I deliver 3 simple points:

  1. Work Hard: This is a new year and a new school. You have a clean slate. What will you write on it?
  2. Play Hard: Have fun! But just like any sport, you have to stay within the boundaries!
  3. Get Involved: Don't just show up at 9 and leave at 3. Get involved in clubs, teams and extra-curricular activities!

This presentation features hard-hitting stories of students who made bad choices in Grade 9 and side-tracked their lives... as well as students who got involved in school activities and stumbled onto their life's passion! As always, this presentation is delivered in my multimedia style with hilarious anecdotes, freestyle raps and lots of pop culture material to keep audience engagement. The cost of the Grade 9 Orientation keynote is $500 (plus HST).

Character and Careers

This is a Character Education talk centered around things I've learned from being an actor. I recount stories from botched auditions, missed opportunities, short-lived successes and long-lived failures in a funny and inspirational talk about hard work, pursuing your dreams and the importance of being a person of character.

This presentation is delivered in my multimedia style with funny video clips from TV shows and commercials, as well as inspirational quotes for success. The cost is $425 for one presentation and $250 for each additional presentation (plus HST).
